Feeling Stuck? Let’s Talk About Depression
Everyone feels down sometimes. But depression is more than sadness. It’s a heavy fog that makes it hard to function, connect, or even get out of bed. If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep feeling this way.
What Depression Can Look Like
Depression doesn’t always look like tears. It can show up as:
-
Exhaustion, even after sleep
-
Loss of interest in things you used to enjoy
-
Changes in appetite or weight
-
Trouble concentrating
-
Feeling hopeless, empty, or numb
-
Irritability or restlessness
-
Thoughts of death or suicide
These symptoms can creep in slowly or hit all at once. Either way, they’re real, and they deserve attention.
When to Seek Help
If these symptoms last more than two weeks, it’s time to reach out. Especially if they’re affecting your work, relationships, or safety. Depression can make you feel like nothing will help, but that’s the depression talking. Support is out there.
